The importance of a safe work environment
At Jim's Electric (2006) Ltd., safety is our number one priority. We have been a COR Certified company since 2007. What this means is Jim's Electric has achieved, and maintained, the gold standard for safety in the workplace. Being a COR Certified company allows us to take on much larger, more complicated projects that require exceptional safety compliance.
Our technicians are trained in WHMIS, first aid, mobile elevated lift, and fall protection to name a few. We pride ourselves on offering our employees the best training available so they can complete their tasks safely and efficiently. Training is such an important aspect in maintaining a safe work environment, and therefore we also offer free training for workplace violence and harassment, leadership for safety excellence, principles of health and safety management, and legislation awareness.
We supply our technicians with the proper PPE to be able to do their job in a safe manner and are continually searching for new, innovative products that can help our company exceed safety standards.
